It didn't take too long for Connor to fall in love with his brother. He loves playing on the floor with Ryan!

Day at the Zoo

We went to the zoo this week with Julie, Anna, Sam and Nona. Connor loved the train ride and feeding the giraffes. We're going to go back soon for Zoo Babies!

Fashion show!

Connor had a blast trying on all of the clothes I was folding (including daddy's underwear!)

Easter 2009

We decided to stay home on Easter (doctor's orders!) My parents and Mike's parents stopped over to see the boys and deliver Easter baskets. We chowed down on the Sparks' feast that was hand delievered and had a great day!

Coming home

We were able to leave on Sunday which was nice so that we could get home and back to our routine. Connor came home and wasn't sure how to react to the situation. He started acting out and tried to get everyone's attention. It took time and patience, but he's now a great big brother to Ryan!

Connor meets Ryan

Connor stayed with my parents while we were in the hospital and I was nervous about how he would do meeting his new brother. When he walked in, he ran to Mike and stayed away from Ryan and me. He left for the day and when he came back the next day, he started to show an interest in him. It ended up taking about two weeks for Connor to come around to the idea of sharing his mom and dad!

Here he is!

We went in for the c-section at 7:30 and Ryan Patrick Meyers was born at 7:38 am on April 3, 2009. He weighed 8lbs 2oz and was 20 inches long. As soon as he was pulled out, he peed everywhere!

Almost here!

We took a few pictures before Ryan was born. We left for the hospital at 4:30am! As you can tell by our faces, we definitely had less anxiety this time around. Right before Ryan was born, the monitors picked up the sound of his hiccups.

Six weeks left!

I've been awful about taking pregnancy pictures this time around, but here is the latest. I'm carrying this baby so much different than Connor (but they swear it's a boy!) Baby 2 still is nameless even though the baby name poll says Oswald won! I can promise you one thing...it will not be Baby Oswald!
