Christmas 2007

This was Connor's first Christmas and I think we were more excited about it than he was! We had our parents and my sister's family over for dinner on Christmas Eve (yes we cooked!) We woke up around 6:30am on Christmas morning after begging Mike to get out of bed so we could open gifts. Connor pulled the bows off of a couple of gifts, but had no interest in tearing off the paper. His first gift was a push toy and when I unwrapped it he looked at me, then Mike, said ahhhhhh, then started dancing! After that, he was more interested in eating cinnamon rolls. We went to the Sparks' around noon and saw Santa Claus, then went to the Meyers' to visit with more family.

Ugly Sweater Christmas Party

This year at our annual Christmas party we asked everyone to not bring a white elephant gift and instead invest in an ugly sweater to wear. The night was hilarious. Almost everyone showed up wearing their best find and the laughter continued all night long. Some people spent hours searching for the perfect attire and some people just had to open their closet door. I think it's going to be hard to top the theme next year, but we'll do our hardest to try!
