Six weeks left!

I've been awful about taking pregnancy pictures this time around, but here is the latest. I'm carrying this baby so much different than Connor (but they swear it's a boy!) Baby 2 still is nameless even though the baby name poll says Oswald won! I can promise you one thing...it will not be Baby Oswald!

Connor Turns Two!

This year we had a low key birthday party for Connor with just our family. We had Connor's favorite meal (pizza...big suprise!) When I asked him what kind of party he wanted to have, he told me ball...big ball. So we had every type of ball decor I could find (lucky for me Super Bowl is right around the corner.) We made basketball and baseball cupcakes, even though Pa said they looked more like spiders and train tracks. Connor was a pro at opening his presents, thanks to Christmas three weeks before. He was a little unsure when everyone sang Happy Birthday, but the cupcake made all fears go away.

Who wants cake?

Connor helped make the cupcakes for his birthday party. He was in charge of stirring while I poured the batter into the cups. I caught him licking the spoon and we had our first talk about double dipping. Maybe the cake batter was why he wouldn't nap that day!

Pump it Up

On New Year's Eve, Dori called and invited us to go to Pump it Up with her and her cousin's little boy. Since the day before Connor and I had a little "falling out," I think I was guilted into the trip. Not that I didn't WANT to take him, I was just afraid I couldn't keep up with him being six months pregnant! Lucky for me, Aunt Dori did the running. Connor was definitely not into the room with the inflatables, but did try the slide with Dori. He sat there and directed traffic for most of the time spent in the first room. When we went to the other room, he warmed up and really got into playing. We had a blast and he slept good!

Christmas with the Sparks'

This was round 3 of Christmas this year. Since Julie and Paul went to Canada for the holidays, we celebrated with them two weeks before Christmas then with the Meyers side the week before Christmas. By this time Connor was getting into the routine with the presents. It was nice to stay at one place on Christmas this year instead of traveling from house to house. We opened gifts, ate some grub and played Wii like there was no tomorrow!

Christmas Morning

We had to wake Connor up on Christmas morning...I'm sure that will be the last time we have to do that. He didn't understand what we were doing and enjoyed taking the bows off of all of the presents. He would open a present and then want to play with it while refusing to open another. He did get a very manly kitchen set from Santa (without approval from his daddy!) I think next year will be A LOT different!

Christmas with the Meyers'

We did Christmas a week early with the Meyers since Mark and Jaime were traveling to Louisiana to be with her family. We had a great time and the presents were responsible for taking up half of the basement. Connor got a four wheeler powerwheels from his "mawmaw" and "pawpaw." Thanks again guys for the damage we've had to the walls! Connor also got some awesome Bass Pro pajamas from who else but Uncle Mark and an awesome Mr. Potato Head set from Aunt Amy (notice the glasses!) This was our second round of Christmas!

Cookies with Nona

This year we started a new tradition baking Christmas cookies with the kids and my mom. The kids (and Bobby) had a blast making the cookies. Even though the cookies looked very appetizing, I don't think anyone tried any!

Santa!

Connor had his first encounter with Santa this year at his Aunt Julie's house. He didn't seem to mind him, but held on with white knuckles to me. He was good with Santa once he was given a present! We decided not to scar him by taking him anywhere else to sit on Santa's lap!

Connor and Ruby

I just had to post this picture...how cute are they (don't worry it's closed mouth!)
