Camping in Versailles

We went camping a couple of weeks ago in Versailles, IN with the Sparks'. We had great weather! We arrived on Friday, set up the tent and hung out around the fire. Saturday we went to the Pumpkin Festival that had no pumkins! We played a few games there and Connor had his first carousel ride. On Sunday the entire habitants of Versailles woke up to Connor screaming "no way!" at 6:45am. We packed up and headed home. We all had a great time and ate like kings (imagine that.) Who eats ribs when they're camping? We hope we can make this an annual tradition!

Disappointing Season

Here's Connor's thoughts on the Bengals 0-5 season.

Baby News

For anyone who hasn't heard our exciting news...we are having another baby! It's so funny that people actually ask me if it was planned. I'm not a 14 year old girl! YES the baby was planned! Connor doesn't understand what's going on and we're not pushing the idea, but how cute is he when we ask him where the baby is he puts his finger up to his lips and tells me SHHHH! I'm 14 weeks and due in early April. Let's all hope we don't have another 10+lb baby! We'll keep you posted with pictures! Notice Connor's shirt!

Peek a Boo in Pa's Car

Here's Connor in his Pa's car! He loves to spend lots of time in there dancing and listening to music!

Day at the Zoo with the Cook Family

Connor and I had a great time at the Cincinnati Zoo with Missy, Carter and Brady. Good idea: Taking the three boys to the zoo on an unusually cool summer day and packing a lunch to eat. Bad idea: Forgetting how hilly the zoo is and pulling 60-70 pounds of kid up hills in a wagon! We had a great time and hope to go back soon! Carter loved the cats and monkeys, Connor loved the fish and manitees, and Brady loved everything! We all were exhausted at the end of the day!

Fourth of July

We had a great Fourth of July this year. We went over The Sparks' and Connor had his first experience with fireworks. He wasn't as amazed as we thought. Actually, I think the adults had more fun with the kids' fireworks. He loved putting the lightning bugs in the bucket for his cousins though!

Spreading the Love

So you know every boy's parents have taken pictures of him playing with dolls or carrying a purse. Well, here's ours! How sweet is he?

Parky's Farm

Connor and I have been trying to go on more dates to enjoy all of the nice weather we've been having. Our last outing was to Winton Woods and to Parky's Farm. We started off at the playground where he had a blast. He chased the ladies and played peek a boo with them as well. After playing pretty hard, he had a seat on the bench to enjoy a much needed snack and drink. Then we went to Parky's Farm to pet the animals. Why does it not suprise me that Connor wanted to chase the cat? I told him we could do that at Aunt Julie's house, but he insisted! He then found interest in the chickens and llama (I was a little frightened by the llama I will admit!) Here are some pictures of our day!

The Wedding

So I'm just now catching up on blogs and for those of you who are going crazy that our blogs are not in chronological order, I'm right there with you! Okay so maybe it's just me! Anyways, as most of you know Mike and I were honored to be a part of our friends Katie and Kris' big day. The wedding was beautiful, but more importantly we had a blast. My only regret: eating brunch at the revolving restaurant the next day (not so good on a sensitive tummy!) So Katie has enough pictures to remember the day and it's a good thing because I took 4! Here are some pictures I wanted to share with everyone who asked! Congratulations again guys!

Clean Up In Aisle 2

These pictures are priceless. Mind you this is our 3 bag of crackers we lost this month. We had to put safety locks on all snack drawers!
